Things to Do in Los Angeles

Our best advice for those visiting Los Angeles

For those coming to our wedding from other places, these are our favorite places to visit, and where we spend our weekends.

Thanks again for joining us in one of the the most important days of our lives!

We love you all

Mr. and (future) Mrs. Czarnecki

Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Promenade

Enjoy an afternoon of fun at the pier. The Pier features an amusement park, dining facilities, gift shops, an arcade, and designated areas for fishing (you do not need a license to fish from the Pier, but please God do not eat it).

Third Street in Santa Monica - you'll find restaurants, unique retail shops, movie theatres and nightclubs. Dining, shopping, entertainment and street performers.

Nightlife in Hermosa Beach

For private tours ask David Liaw.

With a warm climate, hot singles scene and cool laid-back attitude, Hermosa Beach is the epitome of a coastal California party town. Bars and clubs in Hermosa Beach range from casual surfer hangouts and shade-covered patios to pubs and live music venues. Join the young crowd and bar hop Hermosa Beach for a wild night of beachside revelry and fun.

Museum Day: The Getty Villa and/or The Getty Museum

Great panorama views, great art, and shows.

The Getty Villa requires reservations, but both museums are free aside from parking.

Golfing at Los Verdes or Donald Trump National Golf Course

Both courses have ocean views, Los Verdes is more affordable, but Trumps ocean front state is breath-taking.

Disneyland & California Adventure

Disneyland, is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opened on July 17, 1955. It is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.

The Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory Hike

What could be a better place to observe the Sign than at the famous Griffith Park Observatory? Perched atop a high hillside overlooking all of Los Angeles, there are few more spectacular views to be found in the city.  There is convenient, legal parking nearby. Fair warning - parking fills up quickly on weekends and holidays.

The Farmers Market : The Grove

Food from around the world (brazilian is our favorite), and neat small shops. There is also an outdoor mall attached to the market.

Bike ride along the Coast: from Redondo Beach to Santa Monica

Rent a bike and adventure on a beautiful ride along the Pacific Ocean, stop at landmarks such as Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Venice Beach, and Santa Monica - 2-3 hour ride each way.
